2026 Calendar

April 21, 2026, Pot Luck - Member Meeting -  6:30 PM

Location: Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1209 Kingbury Road, Washington IL

Time: Meal begins at 6:30PM with program afterwards. Come early to register for drawings.

Potluck: Paper/plastic ware and water will be provided by the CIHS. Those attending

should bring a side dish or dessert to share. Chicken will not be provided, and you can

bring a meat or meatless entrée if you like instead of a side dish.

Program: Naughty, Nasty and Simply Annoying Plants

Plants can be naughty for various reasons. They might sting or stick you. Some are

poisonous and some can cause dermatitis. The speaker will cover some but not all

“Nasty” outdoor plants and indoor plants.

Directions: From Peoria, take War Memorial Drive (150 East and continue on Boyd’s

Parkway (24 East), turn right onto Nofsinger Rd (about 5.5 miles) then left onto W.

Cruger Rd. (0.3 miles), turn right onto Dallas Rd. and then left onto Kingsbury Rd. The

church and parking lot will be on the left side of the road.
